A very desirable Jaguar Mk II 3.8 Saloon will be offered at Dorset Vintage and Classic Auctions’ forthcoming Spring Sale, on Thursday 22nd March 2012. The elegant sporting saloon, of 1960 vintage, was the subject of a major restoration in the 1990s and remains in very good condition today. It is equipped with a manual overdrive gearbox and a limited slip differential unit, producing the ultimate specification, ideal for participating in classic motoring events.

Other vehicles consigned to the auction sale include: two Bentley Turbo R’s, a pretty Snowberry White Morris Minor Traveller, a 1928 Ford Model AA Tipper Lorry, a 1970 Morris Minor Van, a 1959 Austin A95 Westminster, and for those who like a challenge, a rare 1947 Morgan 4/4 Series 1 Drophead Coupe restoration project.  The Morgan comes with an interesting history and will require structural recommissioning; however, having recently passed its MOT test, the popular motor car is certainly an attainable enterprise.
