The Gloucestershire Steam & Vintage Extravaganza 2012 this year is the 38th annual show and takes place on fri 3rd, sat 4th & sun 5th August 2012. The steam show is described as one of the biggest and best steam, vintage and countryside events in the UK. The show takes place in the heart of the Cotswolds at South Cerney Airfield on the outskirts of Cirencester in Gloucestershire.
The main attraction for the visitors is over 70 Steam Engines of every shape, size and type. The show also has classic transport, classic motorcycles, timber tractors, haulage lorries, buses, vintage caravans, small vans, emergency service vehicles, Military transport and countryside crafts.
For the model enthusiast you can see miniature Steam and the Model and Collections Marquee.
For the aviation enthusiast there is vintage Aircraft and helicopters.

The Steam Extravaganza is held on South Cerney Airfield, which is located approximately one mile from the historic town of Cirencester, in the heart of the Cotswolds.
The Showground is easily accessible from both the M4 and M5 corridors via direct route on the A417 & A419. All routes are officially signposted by the AA.
All public and exhibitors enter the event via Northmore Lane (Not 29th Reg.)
Please follow signs to avoid disruption to neighbours.
