And exclusive to Prindiville Design are fabulous interior ‘jewellery packs’, which replace standard cabin trim components with alternatives crafted from highly polished milled aluminium.

The Goodwood Aviation Show is being relocated within the Festival of Speed’s stunning Goodwood Parkland site for the very first time, rather than being based at the Goodwood Aerodrome, as in the previous two years.  This will make the Aviation Show fully accessible to each of the 180,000+ visitors that are forecast to attend this summer’s event.

With this new on-site location, plus the valued support of Garmin – the leading manufacture of GPS aviation products for avionics – the annual Goodwood Aviation Show is set to expand considerably, with some additional attractions planned for the first time this year, including a dedicated military and civilian careers area.

As in the past two years, the Goodwood Aviation Show will enable manufacturers and agents of fixed wing and rotary aircraft, as well as aviation service suppliers, to showcase their latest innovative aircraft designs and products to both a specialist aviation audience, plus an inquisitive and enthusiastic public.

With the assistance of Red Box – suppliers of aviation support equipment – to date over 20 exhibitors have confirmed their participation at the Aviation Show, already exceeding the total number of exhibitors at the 2011 event, with more still set to follow as Goodwood has increased the available exhibition space.  So far these include Pilatus, Honeywell, Nicholson McLaren, Transair, plus many others.  Further details of exhibitors at the 2012 Goodwood Aviation Show will be announced over the coming weeks and months.

Pleasure flights for the public visiting the Show will be available from the Goodwood Aerodrome during the event, located less than one mile from the Festival of Speed site.  Daily air displays are a highly popular Festival attraction – ranging from the Red Arrows to the UK public debut of the Air Bus in flight – and this year will be no exception, with interesting fly pasts currently in the planning stages, with news to follow shortly.

Since its introduction in 1993, the Festival of Speed has grown to become the world’s leading celebration of transportation for enthusiasts, with the prime focus being automotive, but other modes of transport also being celebrated, from pedal cycles, right through to high-speed boats and aircraft.

Afzal Kahn has re-designed many a Porsche over the years. However,  the end result of the A. As well as Pylewell’s attractions, we have a full timetable of events planned for the weekend including our popular New Forest cruise on the Saturday, followed by evening entertainment in the marquee on the lawns of the house. Two bands are already booked, Jack Rabbit Slim and their own particular brand of Sleaze-a-billy, and the sophisticated-sounding Madison Heights Soul Experience. Danny Bedocs is bringing along the Milkcow Magazine Roadshow and spinning some vintage wax, plus other DJ’s and a Burlesque show will keep you up way past your bedtime! A fun fair and side shows for all the family will also feature all weekend.

On the Sunday we will be open to the public as usual, with our Show and Shine open to Hot Rods, Customs, Muscle cars as well as other LHD American Cars and Classics. Custom Bikes are also welcome, and we expect several clubs to stage their own Ride-In’s on the day to join in the fun. As well as the full compliment of trade stands, there will also be a swap meet as well, so bring along those unwanted parts, your junk is someone else’s treasure, so why not make a few quid to add to the beer kitty!

All in all, everything you’ve come to expect at a Wheelers show and more, with the added attraction of a fantastic new venue!

TomTom HD Traffic creates a picture of traffic conditions as they evolve.  HD Traffic contains information from multiple data sources, including connected navigation devices, mobile phones, road sensors and real time incident data.  TomTom combines this anonymous information to produce real time traffic products using proprietary and tested methods.

Updates are provided every minute ensuring the AA’s customers are fully aware of the current road conditions before they start their travel.  TomTom HD Traffic provides comprehensive coverage across the UK.

Pictured here for the first time, the five-door up! has many of the same virtues as its three-door sibling: a 2.42 m long wheelbase that makes for impressive interior space, a capacious 251-litre boot, an efficient three-cylinder engine, new-to-the-class safety features and an innovative infotainment system.

Rear passengers in the five-door up! benefit from exactly the same space as those in the three-door model, with 947 mm of headroom (versus 993 mm in the front) and 789 mm of legroom.  The rear seat base is set slightly higher than that in the front, at 378 mm (versus 306 mm) giving passengers a clearer view of the road ahead.

As well as front and side airbags, ABS with Hydraulic Brake Assist, Isofix child seat preparation in the rear and standard ESP (on all but the entry level Take up! model), the up! can be ordered with an optional City Emergency Braking system.  This uses sensors to scan the space ahead of the vehicle, applying the brakes automatically if it detects that the car is about to hit an object in front, and costs from just £225.  The up! has received a five-star rating and the Advanced Award from Euro NCAP, the European New Car Assessment Programme.  It is the first vehicle in this class to receive these awards.

The Maps & More infotainment system is a mobile Personal Infotainment Device that was developed to organise navigation, telephone, information and entertainment.  It is removable, but unlike many other similar systems of this type, it melds with the car’s network of systems and can be used to view vehicle information, such as the display of the parking sensors (where fitted).  The system is standard on the High up! model and above, and optional on the rest of the range.

The up! has already received top honours at the prestigious What Car? awards, where it was named Car of the Year for 2012, and has also been named TopGear magazine’s Small Car of the Year.

The other featured car at the Qatar Motor Show is the Bentley Mulsanne, which continues to do exceptionally well in the Middle East. Elegant yet distinctly sporting in character, it delivers effortless performance from the classic 6.75 litre V8 engine whilst within its sumptuous cabin advanced technology sits discreetly with handcrafted luxury. It represents the pinnacle of British luxury motoring which continues to attract substantial interest in the Middle East with the market now accounting for 15% of global sales.

The Qatar International Motor Show comes as Bentley bounces back to pre-recession levels of demand. Sales were up 37% globally in 2011 to 7003 cars with sales accelerating as the year progressed. December saw 1059 cars delivered to customers (up 69% on the same month in 2010), the best month since Bentley’s pre-recession record of 2007 and the second best month ever.

The Middle East region remained stable – a positive outcome considering the Arab Spring affected confidence at the beginning of the year. Sales recovered throughout the year, however, with record monthly sales from June through to October resulting in an annual increase of around 3% to 566 cars sold – the second highest year for Bentley sales in this region. Qatar retained its position as the third largest market in the Middle East with 70 cars sold during 2011.

Sales growth was led by strong demand for the new Continental GT and the Bentley Mulsanne – for which the Middle East remains one of the most important markets in the world. Demand for these cars is expected to continue in 2012 and, with the arrival of the new GTC, double digit growth should be maintained.

Specific to the DS line, DS3 Ultra Prestige’s front seats are fitted with ‘watchstrap’ design seat upholstery in ‘Club’ leather. The leather itself is of a quality typically reserved for handcrafted ‘made to order’ creations. A mark of the model’s exceptional quality, the front seats also sport a ‘crescendo’ colour effect that is entirely new to the automotive sector. Inspired by the world of fashion – and made using a process specially created for Ultra Prestige – the colour of the leather on the front seats gradually changes from white at the top of the seat back to black on the seat base.

The dashboard strip is covered in ‘Alpine’ white leather, embossed with the DS signature. The colour of the dials also matches the white of the interior detailing. There are ultra-thick protective mats, braided with double top-stitching in contrasting colours. As an extra touch of luxury, leather trim is also fitted to the door panels and central armrest.

Based on the already generously equipped DSport trim level, DS3 Ultra Prestige is available with a choice of two striking body colours – Polar White and Thorium Grey – and feature a sports spoiler, dark-tinted side and rear windows and 17” charcoal-grey alloy wheels. The ‘Ultra Prestige’ graphic that covers the model’s black roof with the DS insignia, provides a range of subtle contrasts, shifting from matt to gloss as the light changes. There is also a ‘Dark Chrome Signature’ option, including black door mirrors with dark chrome base, dark chrome side rubbing strips, front grille surround, front fog light surrounds and an insert on the rear number plate moulding.

Adding to the DSport’s equipment specification that already includes automatic digital air conditioning and a Bluetooth^® enabled Hi-Fi system, DS3 Ultra Prestige gains Citroën’s integrated MyWay colour satellite navigation system, rear parking sensors, automatic headlamps and windscreen wipers, electrically heated and folding door mirrors and an electrochrome rear view mirror.
