The Dereham Model Railway Exhibition takes place at Neatherd High School on Saturday 25th February 2012.
This year’s event is being organised jointly by the MNR and Flying Pigs Large Scale Railway Modellers.
The Exhibition opens at 10am and closes at 4pm.
Adults entry is £5 with accompanied children under 14 years gaining free entry.Park&Ride from Dereham Station.
Bus travellers from Norwich can catch the ‘Konnect Fastbus’ which runs from Thorpe Station or the First X1 from the Bus Station. Refreshments will be available at the school.
Layouts booked are: Alex Bridge; Bankfield Road; Brenlyn; Crickey; Dragonby; Grumstick & Dipplewick; Grandad’s Trains; Martin’s Sidings; Melbury; New Walmington Pier; Nibley Knoll; Poulter Bank; Purcell; Tobyham; Vintage Clockwork Trains; Zevendaal.
Also attending will be a group bringing Lego, for children to help build a track and run trains on it. This has been very successful at other exhibitions, encouraging children into the hobby. We expect there to be Model Making demonstrations.
